Haskel oxygen boosters are used to refill your Biomarine rebreather cylinders and your Draeger rebreather cylinders with pure oxygen.
This is a two stage booster capable of boosting 100 PSI oxygen air up to 3500 PSI; an ideal application for Mine Rescue units refilling oxygen cylinders. We have a flexible or rigid manifold that will fill one to six small O2 cylinders at a time.
Haskel oxygen boosters are most often used as a stationary unit, but is easy to transport if needed. This booster is powered by either shop or plant air with a factory recommended minimum of 75-150 PSI and 15 CFM. Average overhaul cycle is 2000 hours.
The booster is available with accessory hoses. A supply hose for oxygen, rated for 3000 PSI, is available with CGA 540 nut/nipples. An outlet fill hose for oxygen is available in any length desired. Fill hose assembly can have on/off valve and soft seat gas bleed valve. Additional fill hoses and/or fill manifolds are available at extra cost.
Also equipped with high pressure relief valve, inlet and outlet 5 micron filters, remote set pilot valve to automatically start and stop the booster at a preset pressure. Email us for a quote,

Haskel boosters can help you save approximately 20% on the cost of refilling your leased/rented gas cylinder. If you're returning standard "K" cylinders (2265 PSI working pressure with 230 SCF of gas) when your supply cylinder pressure gets down to 600 PSI, you're returning about 20% of useable gas. Haskel's two stage Haskel booster can scavenge this 20% and save you serious money and the added headache of handling additional cylinders. Depending on the amount of cylinders per year you rent, you could pay back the cost of the Haskel in as little as a year.

--- Typical Booster Operation ---
• Equalize the pressure between one your DOT air cylinders and your SCBA cylinder.
• If the desired pressure is not obtained, simply start cycling your booster to finish filling to the desired pressure. (50 cycles per minute or less when boosting oxygen)
• Stop the booster when the desired fill pressure is obtained.
