Haskel boosters are one of the best choices for SCBA refilling at the scene. Haskel air boosters have flow rates of 5-130 SCFM. The Haskel booster is a pneumatic booster, having a single stage double acting pump and is the most efficient air booster to use when taking air from the cascade to drive the Haskel booster. Our Haskel booster uses the newest remote set air pilot valve for easy adjustments. Haskel pumps are used for SCBA refilling on the fire ground or to help recharge your mobile air storage system, when back at the station. Haskel boost pumps are oilless and require little or no annual maintenance. Average overhaul duty cycle is 2000 hours. Haskel air boosters have a twelve month factory warranty. This 5000 PSI service model of Haskel air booster is powered by air from a high pressure cascade system, that has been regulated down to <150 PSI. It can also be modified to use with shop or plant air to power the booster.

Why You Benefit when buying Our Model of this Haskel Booster?

Our models AC90071 & AC90073 air boosters, incorporate Haskel's latest, most sensitive auto start/stop remote set air pilot valve. This valve has a "DEAD BAND" of only 5-10% of the supply pressure. Some Haskel vendors sell a booster that includes a 51940-1 air pilot valve, which has a complex adjustment procedure and can have a "DEAD BAND" from 10-40%, depending on model and application. The "DEAD BAND" is the range of pressure drop that must be sensed by the air pilot valve before the booster starts to pump again. Be sure to specify, "Haskel pump shall be equipped with remote set air pilot valve", on your system.

--- Typical Booster Operation ---

• Equalize the pressure between your DOT air cylinders and your SCBA cylinder.

• If the desired pressure is not obtained, simply start cycling your booster to finish filling to the desired pressure. (60 cycles per minute or less)

• Stop the booster when the desired fill pressure is obtained.

The boosters shown above comes equipped with high pressure relief valve, inlet and outlet 5 micron filters, remote set air pilot valve to automatically start-stop the booster, high pressure reducing regulator and gauges. We keep these units in our stock.
